Serious4Sport have many qualified coaches in a variety of sports, who have a vast amount of experience in coaching children. We have worked as coaches and as teachers whilst gaining our valuable experience in the industry, and are working hard to continue this into the future by gaining even more knowledge in every lesson we deliver.

Our Coaches
James Hicks
Owner of Serious4Sport, Head Coach & Camp Manager
Qualifications: BA Hons Degree in Football Studies, Level 1 & 2 in Football, Level 1 Table Tennis, Level 1 Basketball & 12 Years Coaching Experience in Primary Schools and Nursery Schools. Paediatric First Aid, Enhanced DBS Certified, Basic Safeguarding (level 1), Advanced Safeguarding (level 2), Designated Safeguarding Officer (level 3), Common Core of Skills & Knowledge, Preventing Radicalisation & Extremism, Safer Recruitment, AlergyWise Anaphylaxis Trained. 1st4Sport Introducing Competition in PE, Assessing Progress in PE, Organising PE Lessons, Planning PE Lessons, Managing Behaviour in PE qualifications.
Achievements in brief: BA Honours Degree in Football Studies at Southampton Solent University, Oxfordshire County Junior Squash, Oxfordshire Senior League Mens Squash Captain, represented Great Britain in the inter-schools multi sports championship. Managed and played in Hellenic and North Berks football.
Dec O’Hanlon
Camp Lead & Lead Coach in Primary Schools
Qualifications: Deputy Safeguarding Officer (Level 3), Level 1 Football, Paediatric First Aid Trained, BTEC Level 3 in Sport (Distinction), Safeguarding Level 2 Trained and DBS checked. 1st4Sport Introducing Competition in PE, Assessing Progress in PE, Organising PE Lessons, Planning PE Lessons, Managing Behaviour in PE qualifications.
Achievements in brief: Obtained valuable GCSE Qualifications and attended KA’S 6th Form. Currently Studying Sports Coaching at Oxford Brookes University. Been involved in the FA Cup and Vase with Wantage Town FC, won the league and runners up in the U18 Cup with Abingdon Youth.
